Introduction to the ISO/TS 22163 system

The revised schedule of the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) will be released in May 2017. Through revision, this industry standard that has been released and implemented for 10 years will be officially promoted to the ISO series ISO/TS international standard, the standard number is ISO/TS 22163.
The new version of the ISO/TS 22163 system requires the following:
Includes all requirements of ISO 9001:2015;
Covers all requirements of IRIS Revision 02.1 + Addendum 2015; in addition, it is supplemented by the special requirements of railway operators and railway vehicle manufacturers; content layout according to the latest division structure (advanced structure) of management system standards, for the railway industry Special requirements have increased a lot of content; more attention to customer evaluation of products and services provided by the audited party; more attention to performance evaluation and assessment of each process of each system;
Process-oriented management ideas are enhanced and specific process descriptions are required; audits are still required through the audit software "IRIS Audit-Tool" and IRIS checklists.
